Bryce Garst
Bryce Garst
of Mesa Arizona, was diagnosed with a brain tumor when he was
only 3 years old. Bryce's parents, Charlene and Chris, were devastated.
They could not bear the thought of losing their son. They wondered
how their other son, Eric, who was 7 years old, could face the
possibility of losing his best friend?
Bryce had
surgery to remove the tumor. However, the tumor regrew, and the
doctors offered no hope.
Charlene and
Chris took Bryce to Dr. Stanislaw R. Burzynski for antineoplaston
therapy. They drove 22 hours to Houston, Texas. Dr. Burzynski's
treatment worked, and today, Bryce is a healthy 6 year old.
Because the
Garst's health care insurance refused to pay for the treatment
that was working, Chris held a garage sale. Word spread, neighbors
flocked to the sale, and some kind persons offered to hold garage
sales of their own for Bryce. An 85-year-old woman held so many
sales that she raised $27,000.
