Our brain tumor patient reunion

was a wonderful success!!!

We had a very exciting tour of the Research Institute, where patients were able to see how the medicine that saved their lives was manufactured!! Meeting the people who make it happen was very fascinating, informative , and exciting! These people are caring and doing a great job researching far more things than we thought. The research there is beyond what anyone would think. They have some excellent Scientists who are discovering new information every day. Not only that, the Institute is more than state of the art. They have sophisticated machines to measure all kinds of data. The dinner we all attended in the evening was very rewarding. All of the patients received a Pioneer Award from Dr. Burzynski. It included how many years these patients have been in remission. Some were 15 years or more! It was a great time talking with all of the different patients about their recoveries and being with Drs. Burzynski was a blessing for all of us!!
