I was diagnosed by the Prostate Cancer center in 2010 with a PSA of 69 which scared the living ...out of me. They advised that my life expectancy was approximately 3 years as of right then. They stated that I needed to get on chemo and radiation immediately and I would be given the highest dose possible to see if they could get a handle on it, They stated if that did not work, there were some clinical trials in LA that they MAY be able to get me in. Exact words were," we are going to throw the kitchen sink at it and see what happens". My paperwork from the cancer center showed me at Stage 4.
I stated that I wanted a second opinion and remembered an old man at the whole food store who said if you ever get prostate cancer go see a Dr named Bursynski in Houston. I had to curse to get my records and they bad mouthed Dr B unmercifully. Too make a long story short, my insurance provider approved a $273,000 3 yr program for the cancer treatment center but nothing for Dr B. After three months of PB and other medication, my PSA was at .6 not even 1.0. With no side effects.
After almost three years, my pet scanow hitch was taken May 31, 2013 showed no signs of cancer and my PSA is at 2.00
This was without chemo or radiation which would have had me sick with side effects.
